We’re absolutely delighted to share that our very own Dylan James has officially passed his CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector examination! 👏🔍
This is a huge professional achievement and one we’re incredibly proud to celebrate with him.
Dylan only joined CDL Group in March, working as part of our Welding & NDT team as a Welding Inspector and Machinist, but in a relatively short space of time he has already become a brilliant part of the team.
His role sees him involved throughout the testing process – from welding inspection through to machining the test specimens used for mechanical testing, including Charpy impact and tensile testing. ⚙️🔬
Now, after plenty of studying, preparation and hard work alongside the day job, Dylan can officially add CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector to his professional qualifications. 💪🎓
CSWIP 3.1 is an internationally recognised welding inspection certification and achieving it demonstrates the technical knowledge and competence required to inspect welded work and assess it against the relevant standards, specifications and quality requirements.
For Dylan to have achieved this within his first six months at CDL makes it even more fantastic. It’s a brilliant milestone in his career and another step in developing the technical expertise we have within our Welding & NDT team. 🚀
Of course, his contribution to CDL isn’t entirely technical…
☕ He also makes a very good brew – an equally important skill as far as the rest of the team are concerned. 😂
